Pole Single Backdrop System

The TogDrop® Pole Single Backdrop System gives you another way to hang a single backdrop by using compatible upright tension poles as your mounting points.

Designed for tension poles and other compatible upright poles, this pole mounted backdrop system lets you create a dedicated backdrop position without permanently mounting backdrop hardware to the wall.

It’s a practical backdrop mounting option for rental studios, garages, shared spaces, temporary setups, and other spaces where you prefer to use upright tension poles rather than mounting your backdrop system directly to the wall.

Hang your backdrop from upright tension poles

The system starts with two adjustable Pole Adapters that attach to compatible upright poles from ¾″ to 1-7/8″ in diameter using the included spacers.

Wall Saddle Holders with Saddles create the mounting points for your backdrop crossbar and support crossbars up to 1.5″ in diameter.

Safety Tie Bungees help secure the crossbar to the Saddles.

At the bottom of the setup, Pole Stretchers and stretcher bungees allow you to add tension and help control the lower portion of your backdrop.

Together, these components give you a backdrop system for upright tension poles and other compatible upright poles without requiring permanent wall-mounted backdrop hardware.

A flexible mounting option using upright tension poles

Not every photographer can—or wants to—install a permanent wall mounted backdrop system.

If you rent your studio, work on location, frequently rearrange your sets, or simply don’t have a compatible mounting wall, the Pole Single Backdrop System gives you a backdrop holder for poles that can become part of the studio setup you already use.

The Pole Adapters are adjustable and use included spacers to accommodate compatible pole diameters from ¾″ to 1-7/8″.

This makes the system useful for photographers who use tension poles or other compatible upright poles and need their backdrop mounting system to work in spaces where permanent wall installation isn’t practical.

How the system works

The Pole Adapters attach to your compatible upright tension poles and create the mounting points for the system.

The Wall Saddle Holders and Saddles support your backdrop crossbar, while Safety Tie Bungees help secure the crossbar in position.

At floor level, Pole Stretchers and stretcher bungees add tension to the lower portion of the backdrop to help keep it positioned.

The result is a single backdrop mounting position that uses your upright tension poles instead of traditional backdrop stands or permanent wall-mounted hardware.

Instead of setting up another traditional backdrop stand and working around stand legs, your mounting points are already attached to your upright poles.
