When your photography setup needs to move—or you’re working in a space where permanent mounting isn’t an option—the TogDrop® Light Stand Single Backdrop System gives you a simple way to hang a single backdrop using two compatible light stands or C-stands.

Designed as a portable backdrop system for photographers, it turns light stands you may already own into dedicated mounting points for your backdrop crossbar.

Whether you’re working in a home studio, client’s office, school, pop-up studio, or temporary shooting location, you can set up your backdrop when you need it and break it down when the session is finished.

Hang a backdrop using your light stands

Two Single Backdrop Holder Light Stand Bases attach to your compatible light stands or C-stands.

The included Saddles support your backdrop crossbar and accommodate crossbars up to 1.5″ in diameter.

Safety Ties help secure the crossbar to the Saddles, while the included bungees can be used for bottom backdrop control.

The system supports up to 20 lbs each side when properly installed and can be used with compatible canvas, paper, or fabric backdrops within the system’s weight limit.

Add a TogDrop Dual Saddle to create an additional backdrop position using the same light stand setup. This gives you the option to have two backdrops available without building a completely separate mounting system.

In a real session

Bring two compatible light stands or C-stands, add the TogDrop Light Stand Single Backdrop System, position your crossbar and backdrop, and you’re ready to work.

When the session is finished, the setup can come back down and move with you to the next location.
