Ceiling Mounted Light System

Light stands take up valuable floor space and always seem to be where you need to walk. The TogDrop® Ceiling Mounted Light System moves your light overhead, giving you a cleaner, more organized studio without another stand on your floor.

Choose your ceiling type when ordering. Select either Drop Ceiling or Drywall Ceiling to receive the correct mounting hardware for your installation.

For Drop Ceiling installations, the system mounts directly to your suspended ceiling grid using the TogDrop® Swivel Ceiling Mount.

For Drywall Ceiling installations, you’ll first install the included 12 to 14 gauge steel strips. These strips create the magnetic mounting surface required for the TogDrop® Magnetic Bases, providing a secure foundation for your lighting system.

The Swivel Ceiling Mount lets you position your light exactly where you need it while keeping your floor clear. If you want the ability to lower and raise your light without removing it, the system is compatible with adjustable extension rods, available from third-party suppliers. This gives you the flexibility to customize the system for your studio and your workflow.

Installation

Select Drop Ceiling or Drywall Ceiling before adding the system to your cart.

• Drop Ceiling: Mounts directly to your suspended ceiling grid using the Swivel Ceiling Mount.
• Drywall Ceiling: Requires installation of the included 12 to 14 gauge steel strips, which provide the magnetic mounting surface for the TogDrop® Magnetic Bases.

Optional: Add adjustable extension rods (available from third-party suppliers) if you want to lower and raise your light from the floor.
