About TogDrop Solutions
Mounting Solutions Built for Photographers Who Need More From Their Space
The Passion Behind TogDrop
We’re photographers, manufacturers, and problem-solvers who believed there had to be a better way to work.
We’re Gary and Elaine Jones, and TogDrop Solutions started with a problem we knew firsthand.
For more than a decade, we worked as photographers in small studios, photographed schools, and hauled gear on location. We knew what it was like to work around backdrop stands, lose valuable floor space, and spend too much time changing setups when we would rather be photographing.
Our first studio was a 400-square-foot garage, so making every inch work wasn’t optional. We needed a better way to hang backdrops, create different setups, and use the space we actually had.
So, we started building one.

From Our Studio Problem to TogDrop Solutions
Gary brought decades of construction experience along with CAD design and 3D printing to the problems we were experiencing behind the camera.
Instead of designing another backdrop stand, we started looking at the studio itself differently. Could we use the wall? A pole? The ceiling? Equipment photographers already owned?
That thinking became the foundation of TogDrop Solutions: modular mounting systems designed and manufactured to help photographers hang backdrops, create corners and rooms, and add lighting while making better use of their space.
What began as a solution for our own studio became something we knew could make life easier for other photographers, too.

Built by Photographers. Manufactured for Photographers.

Because we come from behind the camera, we understand how much the little frustrations in a studio can add up. And because we manufacture TogDrop ourselves, we can take those frustrations back to the drawing board and create practical solutions that make your setup easier.
That combination is what drives TogDrop Solutions: real photography experience behind the products we design, manufacture, test, and use ourselves.
Let’s create more, together.

What Matters to Us
Solve Real Problems in Your Studio
We build solutions around the challenges photographers actually face, from limited studio space to complicated backdrop changes and cumbersome setups.
Keep It Simple and Easy to Use
Good studio equipment should make your workflow easier, not give you another thing to fight with. We focus on smart, modular solutions that help you get more from the space and equipment you already have.
Stand Behind What We Make
We manufacture our systems, use them ourselves, and support the photographers who use them. If you need help figuring out what works for your studio, we’re here to help.
Your Studio Doesn’t Have to Work Like Everyone Else’s
Every photographer works differently. Your space, the way you shoot, the backdrops you use, and the setups you need are your own.
That’s exactly why TogDrop is modular.
Whether you need to hang one backdrop, create a corner, build a full backdrop room, add lighting, or simply reclaim some much-needed floor space, we can help you build a setup around the way you work.
Not sure which TogDrop setup is right for your studio? We’ll help you figure it out.
